Tender Assessment
A Tender Assessment prices a job from its documents — RFT forms, BOQs, SOQs, specifications and drawings (PDF, DWG/DXF, zips). Bee reads the package, summarises the job, takes off quantities in the viewer, and prices every line against your calibrated rates.
Overview: The AI Summary

- Tabs — Overview, Measure, Line Items, Material List, Files, Team, Memory, Reports, Quote Requests, Customer Quotes.
- Run — starts or resumes the pipeline inside your chat session, so you can follow along and step in while it works.
- File rail — upload tender documents, or attach them From Files / From Records; tiles show type chips and processing status. Zips and DWG/DXF are indexed and readable.
- AI summary — project, client, value and timeline, then Deal Breakers, Key Points and Risk Flags. Richer since 3.6.5; Regenerate after adding documents.
- Bee bubble — the chat follows the file and page you're viewing, so questions stay in context.
The Measure Tab
Take-offs happen directly in the document viewer — no separate page.

- Document selector — pick the drawing or schedule; download or remove it; callouts are recognised across every sheet.
- Rendered document — draw lines, rectangles and polygons straight on the page; set scale and paper format in place; annotations appear live.
- Live line-item panel — the outline tree and the same toolbar as the Line Items tab; measurements cite the line items they price (since 3.5.6).
- Running total — the estimate updates as you measure.
Large PDF sets index all the way through, and documents are parsed once and shared between viewer and thumbnails, so big sets open quickly.
Line Items & Material List
- The Line Items tab is the costed hierarchy — see Line Items & Costing for outline, review mode, margins and batch edits.
- The Material List (alpha) gives everything you buy its own home: one row per product with purchase total, provenance and the measurements behind it; export to CSV or XLSX when ordering.

- Search products once they exist.
- Export the list (CSV/XLSX).
- Products appear automatically once cost estimation prices the material items.
Reports Tab

- The tab header explains it: create, edit, preview, and export assessment reports.
- New report — generate from a template (yours, your company's, or extracted from any PDF — see Reports).
- Cards show the report UID and status (Completed, Draft, Processing) and can be renamed inline.
Quote Requests & Customer Quotes
Two new tabs close the loop between your estimate and the market:

- BETA banner — the contractor invite flow, statuses and schema may still change.
- Requests / All quotes — what you sent out vs everything that came back.
- To start: go to Line Items, select the items you want priced, and tap Request Quote in the selection bar.

- Customer Quotes works the same way: select line items and tap Send to Customer to package a quote for your client.
Typical Tender Workflow
- Create a Tender assessment and upload the full package (or a zip).
- Read the summary — check deal breakers before you commit.
- Run the pipeline; watch Bee extract and price in the chat.
- Measure anything missing in the Measure tab.
- Review group by group in review mode.
- Request quotes for packages; send the customer quote; generate the report.
